Bear von Barnes is a wise and loving senior Shepherd yearning for a family’s love.  At 8 or 9 years of age, he is a calm, low-maintenance boy who lost his home through no fault of his own.  A gentle soul, Bear likes to be with you (between his naps) and will follow you around the house and sit at your feet while you work at your computer.  An amiable boy,  he gets along with his foster mom’s other dog, trying to engage him in play and giving gentle kisses.  He’s okay with cats too!  Our happy fella has a good sense of humor and would probably be a great joke teller, if only he could talk.  Like most seniors, Bear’s slowed down a bit but abounds with love and loyalty for his people.  He dreams of having an owner who is home much of the time and will cherish him through his golden years.  He will thrive best if there is another dog in residence.
